Christmas Slideshow - (a little late)

First of all, I just have to say that we are so grateful that we made it home safely yesterday. The roads were so scary! As we were driving 60mph on the freeway we hit some black ice and did two 360's. We came about 4 feet away from hitting the railing on the left side of the freeway (twice). There were 3 cars within 100 yards behind us and none of them hit us either. Carly and Ellie didn't really care, except for when I started crying afterwards (I was pretty shaken up, but I was mostly just so grateful that we were protected). It's interesting because just a few days ago Aaron and I were talking about guardian angels and how Heavenly Father probably prevents a lot of bad things from happening to us when they logically should have. I know that he allows us to have trials and suffering, but I know there's a lot of preventing and protecting that goes on too.

We had an awesome Christmas break! A Few Highlights:
-A family tour of the Rexburg Temple (so neat!!)
-Shopping with my mom for a new outfit (the first dress suit I've ever owned - so cute!),
-Scalp treatment, facial, and hairdo, with Franci and Holly (only $12),
-Staying up way late and playing games (pretty much every night at Aaron's parents house),
-Aaron, his dad, and my dad went shooting with Josh and his new Sniper rifle (huge gun, $4/bullet). My dad said this is why men have shorter life spans - they have to blow something up to have some fun (women just go shopping)

Yikes! That's really scary. I am glad that you all are safe and had a great time. I am pretty nervous about the new calling, but I am sure I will enjoy the girls.

Yes, we are protected in so many ways that we may not even notice, but this is a definitive example. We are so glad you are back safe. Also, it sounds like you had a great break and with only one more semester to go, thing must be looking up. Again, we are glad you are safea nd a little jealous about the Rexburg Temple, I bet it is beautiful!

good stuff..I am glad your guardian angels didn't take off Christmas break. Snow is so scary sometimes. I am so glad you are okay. You have to live long enough that we can live closer and hang out with us. I want you to live a lot longer actually. I'm so thankful you are safe! That is so scary! I love looking at your pictures. I talked to Jen today for awhile. Krysten and Josh are going in for surgery on Mon. for ear/throat stuff. It was nice hearing how their Christmas was. They don't have internet right now. Love you!

I love the aprons you made your girls! I realized that I want to make one, too, so you will have to show me how. Yours turned out very cute! Thanks for scrabble last night, very fun. Later
